  1. How much does it actually cost to get started

  2. How can I get Sabre onto my computer
    We will provide you with the help to install it on your computer.
    All you need is a computer and access to the internet (not with AOL or CompuServe).
  3. How can I learn to use Sabre
    You can go to an online Training class, (at no Charge).
    You can use the virtual classroom training services.
    We can provide you with scripts for easy invoicing.
    We can provide "cheat sheets" for helpful learning.
    We also provide friendly, knowledgeable agency personnel to help you
  4. What help do you offer
    We provide access to many preferred vendors with high commissions.
    We can provide brochures, and other collateral material.
    Our agents have an average 20 years experience and are available to you for help.
  5. Can you service my customers while I am on vacation
    We will service your customers while you are out of the office
  6. Do you offer the IATAN and CLIA travel agent ID cards?
    Yes. All of our experienced agents receive a CLIA card after completing at least one cruise booking. You are eligible for the IATAN card once you have generated a minimum of $5000.00 in commissions. If you have never been on an IATAN list, there is a 6 month waiting period in addition to the above commission requirements.
  7. How am I paid commissions?
    We mail or direct deposit your commission check/statement every other Thursday. Your statement includes client names, invoice numbers, confirmation numbers, ticket numbers, supplier, gross commission, and your commission earned. Your check includes all commission received for the week ending Sunday 10 days prior.
  8. Will I need Errors & Omissions Insurance?
    The purchase of E & O Insurance is mandatory for Independent Contractors, if you do not have a policy we can cover you for $99.00 per year.
  9. Delivery/Mail fees
    Due to the importance of travel documents we do not use the USPS. Agents may collect documents from our office or have them sent to the agent or their clients at their expense.
  10. Will I receive travel benefits and discounts?
    Yes. You will be eligible for Travel Industry benefits including discounts from Cruise Lines, Hotels, Car Rental companies and Tour Operators.
  11. How will I be kept informed of important industry news?
    In addition to other trade publications, our "Agents Only" website will provide you access to Travel Industry news, supplier specials, FAM’s, and much more – we also email these to you at least weekly.
  12. How will I receive my supplier confirmations?
    We immediately forward all confirmations to you by fax or email.
  13. Some states have a "Sellers of Travel Law". Do I need to register?
    Please check the state in which you live in order to determine the requirements. Generally, you will need to complete a form identifying your name, business name, address and our agency as your host.
